Beosound 2 exists as a single continuous form, the conical shape rising without visible seams or joints, its metallic surface interacting with ambient light throughout the day. Place it near a window and watch reflections migrate across the housing as hours pass.
Acoustic lens technology sits at the design's core, dispersing sound horizontally through 360 degrees so every seat in a room receives identical audio quality. This eliminates the sweet-spot listening that traditional front-firing speakers demand, transforming the Beosound 2 from personal playback device into genuine room audio. Touch-sensitive controls integrate flush into the top surface, invisible until needed.
Connectivity spans contemporary requirements comprehensively: Wi-Fi streaming, Bluetooth for casual connections, AirPlay 2 for Apple households, Chromecast for Google ecosystems. Multiroom capability allows pairing with other Bang & Olufsen speakers throughout a home. Google Assistant voice interaction adds hands-free control for those who prefer speaking over touching.
