CATCH:3 Classics
About
Courant merged the traditional valet tray with contemporary wireless charging technology, creating a single destination for the items that empty from pockets at day's end. The elevated platform houses Qi-certified charging circuitry beneath pebble-grain leather, delivering power to compatible devices laid upon its surface while the surrounding depression collects keys, coins, rings, and whatever else accumulates through daily transit.
The base employs weighted aluminum alloy, providing mass that prevents the tray from shifting during phone placement and removal. This heft contributes to the sense of permanence appropriate to objects that define domestic rituals. The leather wrapping extends across all visible surfaces, its texture chosen for resistance to the scratches that metal keys would otherwise inflict.
Placement determines purpose. Position the Catch:3 on an entry console and it becomes the designated landing zone for arrivals, preventing keys and wallets from scattering across surfaces throughout the house. Move it to the nightstand and it eliminates the cable tangle that otherwise accumulates beside the bed. The single charging surface accommodates phones of various dimensions, the Qi standard ensuring compatibility across manufacturers.
Beyond utility, this object addresses the visual disruption that consumer electronics create in considered spaces. Rather than exposing charging cables and plastic stands, the Catch:3 presents surfaces and materials that complement thoughtful interiors. It acknowledges that the objects we live with daily shape our experience of home, and that domestic technology need not compromise domestic aesthetics.
