The upper employs vegetable-tanned leather, chosen for its ability to develop character through wear rather than simply deteriorating. The tanning process uses plant-derived compounds rather than industrial chemicals, producing material that breathes better against skin while aging with the distinctive patina that marks genuine quality. Interior surfaces receive their own leather lining, preventing the synthetic cling that plagues lesser footwear during warm hours.
