Creator Micro 2
About
Work Louder designed the Creator Micro 2 for individuals who spend hours in creative software and recognize that keyboard shortcuts alone cannot optimize their workflows. This compact control surface consolidates input methods that would otherwise require multiple devices, housing them within a CNC-machined metal frame topped with translucent PMMA.
Thirteen low-profile MX switches provide the primary input surface, each programmable to trigger complex macro sequences or simple keystroke combinations. A rotary dial enables continuous adjustment of parameters like brush size, timeline scrubbing, or volume control. The integrated touch sensor responds to swipes and taps, while a micro joystick adds directional navigation capabilities that prove particularly useful in node-based editing environments.
The Pro variant includes Bluetooth connectivity, eliminating cable clutter for those who prioritize visual workspace cleanliness. The Base model maintains wired USB-C operation for users preferring uninterrupted reliability. Both versions feature onboard memory storing profiles independently of connected computers, enabling consistent behavior across different machines.
Input software unlocks advanced configuration options including six programmable layers and a seven-slot radial menu triggered by joystick movement. RGB underglow provides visual confirmation of active profiles, with customizable colors indicating application-specific presets. Switch options include silent and clicky variants, accommodating preference differences regarding acoustic feedback.
Platform support spans Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and Linux, with included keycap sets featuring appropriate modifier legends. The Pro model's 2100mAh battery sustains extended wireless sessions, while the braided USB-C cable serves charging and connectivity purposes. This represents purpose-built hardware for creators demanding efficiency that standard peripherals cannot provide.
