The upper layer consists of plant-derived vegan leather with a grain texture that provides controlled friction for mouse tracking while remaining comfortable for handwriting. Beneath this working surface, dense wool felt creates a cushioned foundation that absorbs sound, protects the desk from scratches, and prevents the mat from shifting during use.

Two integrated features distinguish this design from ordinary desk pads. Along the upper edge, magnetic strips hold charging cables upright when disconnected, eliminating the frustration of retrieving fallen cords from behind the desk.
