Peak Design engineered this pack around the reality of how people actually retrieve items throughout a day. Rather than forcing users to dig from the top down, dual zipper tracks along each side panel offer instant access to any depth of the main compartment. A magnetized top closure provides quick entry when speed matters, secured by aluminum hardware that clicks shut with satisfying precision.
Inside, the FlexFold divider system uses rigid origami-inspired panels that reconfigure in seconds, creating custom compartments for camera bodies, lenses, or everyday gear. These dividers fold flat when unused, returning full volume to the pack. A padded sleeve against the back panel accommodates laptops while remaining accessible through a dedicated side zip, keeping electronics separate from the main storage.
The shell fabric comes from recycled nylon stock, woven tight enough to shed light rain while maintaining a soft hand feel. Weatherproof zippers with fabric rain flaps protect contents without requiring separate covers. Shoulder straps attach via a unique pivot point that distributes load evenly regardless of how the pack sits, and the internal frame sheet maintains structure whether the bag carries a full camera kit or just a lunch and notebook. This is daily carry refined to its essential elements.
