Fellow Aiden

About

Fellow enters the automatic drip category with a machine that refuses the visual conventions of coffee appliances. The Aiden presents as a dark geometric volume, its surfaces broken only by minimal horizontal seams that allow service access. Front and side panels use powder-coated aluminum, while a polymer rear shell withstands steam exposure without discoloration over time.

The brewing system employs a 1500-watt heating element that achieves and maintains 94 degrees Celsius with the stability that specialty coffee extraction requires. Water distributes through a stainless steel shower head featuring nine precisely positioned apertures. This dispersion component rotates incrementally during the brew cycle, ensuring complete saturation across the entire coffee bed without requiring manual intervention.

A touch interface on the front surface provides control over water temperature, bloom time, and brew ratios, storing multiple profiles for different beans and preferences. The carafe features double-wall vacuum insulation that maintains serving temperature without a hot plate, preserving flavor integrity that degrades when coffee sits on direct heat.

Fellow designed the Aiden for coffee enthusiasts who want pour-over results without the ritual involvement that pour-over demands. The machine handles the variables that matter while eliminating the barriers that keep good coffee confined to weekend mornings. For those whose morning schedules leave no room for slow brewing, this appliance delivers quality without compromise.
