Blanked Studios produces the Oil Diffuser as an exercise in material reduction and ritual preservation. Where most contemporary diffusers rely on ultrasonic mechanisms or electric heating elements, this design returns to the simplicity of flame and metal. A standard tea candle placed beneath the machined aluminum body provides gentle heat, warming essential oils dropped onto the upper surface until they release fragrance into the surrounding air.

The primary structure is precision-milled from aluminum and finished with anodization for durability and subtle sheen. A black walnut accent base introduces organic warmth to the metallic form, creating material dialogue between industrial and natural. Assembly happens by hand in limited production runs, ensuring each unit receives individual attention during construction. The underside features a 3M silicone pad that prevents sliding and protects furniture surfaces.

At 3.75 inches in diameter, the diffuser maintains a compact presence suitable for nightstands, bathroom shelves, or desk corners. The proportions balance visibility with discretion, allowing the object to contribute to a space without dominating it. When lit, the candle glow visible beneath the aluminum body adds ambient warmth to the scent experience, engaging multiple senses simultaneously.
