Tech Pouch

About

Peak Design engineered the Tech Pouch around visibility rather than concealment. The accordion structure expands when unzipped, fanning layered compartments outward so contents display across a wide viewing angle. This approach acknowledges that finding specific cables or adapters often takes longer than using them, making quick identification more valuable than maximum density.

Internal organization uses varying pocket depths and materials. Shallower segments hold cables visible at a glance, while deeper padded sections protect larger items like portable hard drives or camera batteries. Mesh panels provide transparency for small accessories while containing them securely. Pass-through openings between compartments allow charging cables to connect devices to power banks without removing either from the pouch, supporting impromptu charging during transit.

Construction uses recycled weatherproof nylon that Peak Design sources and processes through their established supply chain. The material provides substantial hand feel and abrasion resistance appropriate for equipment carried daily between locations. Coated zippers resist moisture intrusion and operate smoothly despite the stress that angled pouch openings can create. External handles attach securely enough for confident one-hand grabs from bags or shelf storage.

The rigid base creates a footprint that stands upright independently, keeping the pouch accessible on desks or available at the top of backpack compartments. This stability matters when contents shift during transport; items remain in their designated locations rather than migrating toward the bottom. For photographers, videographers, remote workers, or anyone whose productivity depends on having the right cable at hand, the Tech Pouch converts accessory chaos into maintained order through deliberate spatial design.
