V-Series Desk Shelf

Vernal designed this shelf to address the ergonomic reality that monitors and laptops typically sit too low for comfortable extended viewing. The V-Series elevates screens to reduce neck strain while simultaneously introducing storage beneath the raised platform. A sliding accessory tray glides along felt-lined channels, moving silently and protecting surfaces from abrasion. The tray reverses orientation to accommodate both left and right-handed users, positioning frequently needed items within natural reach regardless of desk arrangement.

Cable management channels route power and data lines discreetly toward the rear, preventing the visual chaos that undermines otherwise organized workspaces. Protective pads on the underside grip desk surfaces while shielding them from scratches or pressure marks. The structural design distributes weight evenly, supporting substantial monitors without flexing or telegraphing stress. Multiple finish options allow the shelf to complement existing furniture rather than demanding attention, fulfilling its function with the kind of restraint that serious workspace design requires. This is desktop infrastructure that improves posture and organization without announcing its presence, letting monitors and the work displayed on them remain the focus.
